8th Annual Joseph Miller Abstract Photography Exhibit

This year we had a wonderful surprise with Freeman Patterson attending the 8th Annual Joseph Miller Abstract Photography Exhibit.  Freeman’s largest exhibit of original photographs in the US remain in the gallery every year as the Abstract Photography Exhibit is hung.  This year he made himself available on the first weekend of the exhibit, attending the Artist’s Reception and mingling with the attendees.

Competition to get images into the exhibit was fierce again this year, with 92 photographers submitting 396 images.  The gallery’s 125 image locations mean that many fine images do not get accepted or displayed.

2018 People’s Choice Award

Workshop on Camera Club Judging – 14 October & 11 November, 2017

Making the Ordinary ExtraordinaryLearn judging from one of the areas most entertaining and knowledgeable judges, Joe Miller.  Presented by Joe Miller and Matthew G. Schmidt, with assistance from Amie Tannenbaum.

7th Annual Joseph Miller Abstract Photography Exhibit

6 May – 29 May 2017

The month of May was again the setting for the 7th Annual Joseph Miller Abstract Photography Exhibit.  With 91 photographers submitting 391 images the competition was fierce.  Our mentor and juror, Joseph Miller, selected 125 images for the exhibit, however only 121 were on display.  Many photographers in the exhibit had work in previous exhibits as well.
