4th Annual Joseph Miller Abstract Photography Exhibit

May 2 – May 26, 2014

The 4th exhibit in our series attracted 421 images from 101 photographers with 116 images displayed in the exhibit hall.  South Africa was the only foreign country that entered images, with the bulk of the entries from Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Abstracts are design-based photography, the poetry of photography, and are very different from traditional subject-based photography. Fortunately, interest in abstract photography is growing. I expect The Fifth Annual Abstract Photography Exhibit to be held in May 2015 will be even better.

Special thanks and appreciation go to:

Amie Tannenbaum for her tireless efforts organizing, arranging and curating the exhibit made the exhibit a resounding success.

Matthew Schmidt for his work on the website, collecting digital entries and organizing them for review by the judge.

  1. Thanks Joe, Amie and Matthew for a wonderful job! Every image in this exhibit was awesome and I’m glad to have been able to see each and every one. I only wish I could have attended in person.
